FEATURED ON WPRI.COM:
DARTMOUTH, Mass. (WPRI) — A Providence woman accused of attacking and stabbing a fellow dancer at a Dartmouth strip club went before a judge Tuesday after more than six years on the run.
Pimental, 35, pleaded not guilty to all charges Tuesday and was ordered held without bail and without prejudice, meaning the defense can review the case and ask for another hearing seeking bail.
The prosecution asked for no bail, calling Pimental a “substantial flight risk.”
Frank Camera, who is representing Pimental, said the allegations against her are serious. They met for the first time on Tuesday.
“Certainly they’re serious allegations, there’s no disputing that,” he said. “The alleged victim was wounded.”
